3D Art & Assets
I completed a 3D Art & Asset Production course at the Rochester Institute of Technology where I was trainned by Professor Jesse O'Brien in the usage of Autodesk Maya to create 3D models and animations. During this course we learned how to sculpt 3D models and architecture, use advanced Maya functions such as smart extruding, vertex slicing, skeleton rigging, weight painting, facial modeling, and automated UV-unwrapping and editing tools.
Beyond this single course, I also self-educated myself beyond this skill-base during the production of [8128]:(A Perfect Year) and other personal projects, expanding my skillset to include other programs such as Blender and 3DSMax, which I used to create The Prosopon seen in the first slide of the above gallery, which I constructed partially from the pieces of models of actual spacecraft designs.
